A little about Molly, the Business Owner

Molly McCune Massage Therapist in Sparks

Molly McCune, NVLMT #1059
Business Owner

As Molly suffered a spinal injury as a teenager in a car accident, massage has always been near and dear to her.  Since then, she has understood the relief massage could provide.

While still working, Molly provided each client with an individualized, custom tailored massage.  She enjoyed over 15 years of hands-on experience, until medical issues forced her to stop physically working.  Her goal while working was meeting each clients specific needs for better health and relaxation; in an effort to facilitate their best possible healing response.  She utilized a variety of techniques and styles to create the best experience for each client.  While challenging, the forced stop has helped her help others create their own massage practices.  Her focus remains the same.  Helping others heal themselves with exceptional massage.

Education

She was fortunate to have attended the Ralston School of Massage in Reno, NV.  She graduated from Ralston in 2004.  Always  rubbing shoulders as a child, Molly loved learning about how massage could affect a positive response in the human body.  At the time, the Ralston School of Massage was located at Washoe Medical Center (Now Renown Medical Center) in Reno, NV.  She took every opportunity in school to learn more.  This included interning at the hospital in Labor and Delivery, General Surgery and Oncology.  Providing massage to hospital staff as well as patients at their request.

Molly also excelled in adding almost double the amount of hands-on massage hours required to graduate.  As a student, she rented a massage chair every week.  She would provide free massage to prearranged businesses.  This helped her promote her business prior to graduation, as well as build stamina and accrue additional hands on experience.

Practice

As an Independent Contractor at the Ralston Massage Center in 2005, Molly worked diligently to establish more visibility.  Learning how to Network and promote business, she participating in local networking and referral organizations.  So much so, she was nominated for Sales Woman of the Year for the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada 5 times.

Taught well, she started Body In Knead in 2009.  Today, Molly is not able to physically practice massage therapy.  However, she is passionate about helping her clients find the best massage possible.  She is fortunate to have the exceptional Massage Therapists currently at Body In Knead to promote.

While Molly cannot physically practice massage anymore, she can still schedule you with some of the Best Massage Therapist in the Reno and Sparks, NV area!
